At the very beginning of the project, it was vital for the author to find the right machines and ways to process the wood. There are different ways of processing the wood that highlight its structures. Scraping, scratching, grinding, cutting. It was necessary to chose the right way and procedure.

F​or the two years, the author devoted himself to these various techniques. Initially, he created smaller objects – small wooden sculptures and vases which taught him to disclose the wood. He perceived its lines and structures which he wanted to highlight and revive. In this way, the author uncovers the spirit of wood. „When I find the convenable wood, I have to let it dry duly and bring it closer to my vision“. He transforms the wood into a certain basic form on which he subsequently draws sketches. As the idea grows, he observes the object even for months. When working on the right shape, he pays attention to its thickness and width.

While creating his workd, he tries to direct the woodworking so that the light falling on the finished object change colors from each side. In this way, he emphasizes the dynamics, and its motion determining the light contrast and lines. Such a highlighted, refined structure, adapted to by the author, is brought to life. The finished sculpture preserves its original color and the smell of resin.
